Who killed Jesus? Jesus' tomb. Why did Jesus die? Pontius Pilate's wife gives us an eyewitness account of the final days of Jesus -- not Mel Gibson's Jesus, but the historical Jesus.

WHO WAS HE?

WHO KILLED HIM?

SHE KNOWS.
ten misnamed Claudia Procula or Claudia Procle (as in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ), Pontius Pilate's wife describes Jesus' last days and hours, portraying the death of a Jewish radical: the Jesus of history

WHEN HE WAS SET DOWN ON THE JUDGMENT SEAT, HIS WIFE SENT UNTO HIM, SAYING, HAVE THOU NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT JUST MAN: FOR I HAVE SUFFERED MANY THINGS THIS DAY IN A DREAM BECAUSE OF HIM.

MATTHEW 27:19 (DATE OF ORIGINAL COMPOSITION, C. 90-100 A.D.)

JESUS SAID, "RECOGNIZE WHAT IS BEFORE YOUR FACE AND WHAT IS OBSCURE TO YOU WILL BECOME CLEAR.  FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN THAT WILL NOT BE REVEALED.”

The diary of Pontius Pilate's wife. The wife of the Roman Prefect of Judea is usually referred to in fictional treatments (such as Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ) as Claudia Procula or Claudia Procle, a name based solely on preposterous ancient forgeries long discredited by biblical scholars. Who killed Jesus? Her historically accurate account is supported by the ancient writers Flavius Josephus and Philo Judaeus, as well as evidence found among the Dead Sea Scrolls.
